An important consideration for feeding cats and dogs in ensuring that the food they are given contains a little more calcium than phosphorous.

Meat does contain phosphorous but generally only very little calcium or none at all. This deficiency can be compensated for through the (careful) addition of calcium.

Our calcium carbonate is made of marble and is therefore naturally sourced, whereas many types of calcium citrate used are often synthetically manufactured.
